How it started
Greenspace Zambia started as a plant nursery, selling ornamental plants and specialising in desert roses. As regulars on the craft market scene we engaged with individuals regularly counselling them on their plants and gaining an insight into the needs of Zambian gardeners.
From there we initiated the media outreach project, making information more accessible to people in Zambia and helping them take action in their own home gardens.

In addition to this website, which answers some of the more frequently asked questions we come across, we provide other B2B services to help businesses with their public image.

Digital Outreach
We observed a gap in the quality online content on topics such as gardening, small scale farming and local plants. We now run a digital outreach project to speak into these areas providing uniquely Zambian stories and expert insights.
As part of our digital outreach program we share content through our different platforms, so that we reach diverse audiences with information that will help them create better gardens.

Our content provides inspiration, practical guidance but also promotes the sustainability approach in everything to do with plants.

We are part of a growing community of digital educators who are working to make Zambia greener.
