Organic Farm 7

Organic Farm 7 is one of Zambia’s leading commercial organic farms and sustainable agriculture hubs. Located in Kafue, just south of Lusaka, it has built a reputation as a prominent model for regenerative farming, eco-friendly innovation, and agricultural education in the region.

The farm was started in 2015, beginning humbly as a backyard gardening project before expanding into a large-scale sustainable enterprise. It was founded by Abel Hangoma, a former computer engineer turned award-winning agriculturalist widely known as "The Radical Farmer."

Hangoma’s philosophy challenges traditional perceptions of agriculture in Africa, advocating for farming not merely as a survival mechanism or a last resort, but as a sophisticated, modern, and highly meaningful business.

The team at Farm 7 provides training and farm consultancy services and is always open for farm tours.
